Maresi Austria GmbH is recalling the product “Santa Maria Cheddar Cheese Sauce 3kg” with the batch number “2329020” and the best-before date June 7th, 2024 and June 8th, 2024.
In addition to the recall started on September 22nd, 2023, according to current information from the manufacturer, the recall must also be extended to the best before date of June 8th, 2024 with the batch number “2329020”.

As part of internal quality controls, bacteria were detected in the designated batch of the product “Santa Maria Cheddar Cheese Sauce 3kg”.

There is therefore the possibility of microbiological contamination in individual packages of the product. For reasons of precautionary consumer protection, Maresi Austria is recalling this article. Health impairments cannot be ruled out 100 percent. We therefore advise against consuming the following product.

For reasons of preventive consumer protection, dm drogerie markt is recalling the item “dmBio raspberry rice cakes from the 8th month, 35 g”. The item was immediately withdrawn from sale. Only goods with the best before date (MHD) 04.06.2024 batch “NL 157” are affected. This information can easily be found on the back of the packaging.

Reason for the recall: It cannot be ruled out that individual packs with the above MHD contain increased aflatoxin levels . These substances can impair health if ingested over a long period of time. Aflatoxins are metabolites formed by various molds.

Customers are asked not to consume the product with the above-mentioned BBD and to return it to the dm branches unopened or already opened. The purchase price will of course be refunded, even without presenting the receipt.

As part of internal quality controls, bulges (bloating) on ​​the lid were discovered on individual packages of the product “Inzersdorfer Junior Poultry Spread 80g” with the batch number “L3102” and the best-before date “MHD 04 2026” .

Austria – Balik Pearls – Salmon Caviar 100g – Listeria monocytogenes

On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMSGPK), AGES warns against the product “Balik Pearls – salmon caviar” 100g from the German manufacturer Caviar House & Prunier City GmbH with the best before date December 31, 2023 due to contamination with Listeria. These bacteria can cause serious, often fatal, diseases in immunocompromised people, the elderly and pregnant women. Pregnant women also run the risk of infecting the unborn child with the risk of premature delivery or stillbirth.

This warning does not imply that the health hazard of the goods was caused by the producer, manufacturer, importer or distributor. AGES asks consumers not to consume the affected product under any circumstances, but to dispose of it immediately or to complain to the distributor. The official food control authorities of the federal states take further measures if necessary.

dm drogerie markt is recalling the item “dmBio Tahin Sesammus 250 g” for reasons of preventive consumer protection. Only goods with the best before dates (MHD) February 21, 2025 and February 25, 2025 are affected. Other products in the dmBio range are not affected. The best before date is easy to see on the edge of the lid .

Reason for the recall: It cannot be ruled out that salmonella may occur in the article mentioned above. Eating food contaminated with salmonella can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain and occasionally vomiting and a slight fever. The symptoms usually go away on their own after a few days. In case of severe or persistent symptoms, you should consult a doctor.

Elevated levels of ochratoxin A were detected in the products. Ochratoxin A is a mold toxin (mycotoxin) that can damage the kidneys if ingested over a long period of time. Customers should therefore pay attention to the recall and not consume the products under any circumstances.

The affected products ” Alesto Pistachios, roasted & salted, 70 g” with the best before date September 9th, 2023 and lot number 30030/221213001 and with the best before date October 16th, 2023 and lot number 30030/230119001 and also “Alesto Pistachios, roasted, 70 g” with the best before date 08/12/2023 and lot number 30031/221212001 and with the best before date 10/15/2023 and lot number 30031/230118001 were sold at Lidl Austria.

The products can be returned in all Lidl branches. The purchase price will be refunded, even without presenting the receipt.

Only the products explicitly mentioned are affected by the recall. Other products sold by Lidl Austria from the manufacturer Carl Wilhelm Clasen GmbH and other items from the Alesto brand are not affected by the recall.

A possible bacterial contamination was found in the product “TANN Jausenspeck 250g” during a routine quality control.

SPAR asks customers not to consume the “TANN Jausenspeck 250g” with the batch numbers mentioned. All other TANN products are not affected by this recall.
