Finland – Salmonella found in salami

Lidl has announced that it is recalling an Italian salami product because salmonella has been found in its control samples in another country. The product is Italiamo Strolghino salami, its weight is 250 grams and the recall concerns the product date 4/28/2023 and batch ID 16.

The product has been sold in 62 Lidl stores, mainly in Pirkanmaa and Finland proper. The product batch has not been sold in the capital region, Eastern Finland, Central Finland or Northern Finland.

On its website, Lidl asks its customers to return the products in question to a Lidl store, where the price of the product will be refunded.
