Rømer Vegan, Vrinners Bygade 45, 8420 Knebel Cause: The company has found that there is a risk of mold in the products. Risk: Mold formation means that the products are considered unsuitable as food. Advice for consumers: The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration advises consumers to deliver the product back to the store where it was purchased or to discard it.

Problem: presence of ergot alkaloids.


The AFSCA is today recalling consumers of whole pasta made from spelled flour – Spirelli of the Dinkel brand.

This recall follows a notification via the RASFF system (European Food and Feed Rapid Alert System) concerning the presence of ergot alkaloids in this product.

It was therefore decided to withdraw this product from sale and to recall it to consumers.
The AFSCA asks not to consume it and to bring it back to the point of sale where it was purchased.

Iceland – Aflatoxin mold toxin in seeds

Matvælastofnun warns against the consumption of one batch of melon seeds from Essen AlHasnaA due to aflatoxin mold toxin, which is imported by the Middle East market. The company, in consultation with the Reykjavík Health Inspectorate, has stopped sales and recalled premium Class-Roter Wassermelonenkerne from consumers.

Matvælastofnun received information about the product through RASFF’s European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed and notified the Authority.

The recall only applies to the following batch;

  • Brand: Essen AlHasnaA
  • Product Name: Premium Class – Red Watermelon Seed
  • Shelf life: Best before Date: 31.12.2022
  • Bar Code: 2021-8600716
  • Net amount: 300 g
  • Country of production: Lebanon
  • Distribution: The Middle East Market, Lóuhólar 6, 111 Reykjavík

Consumers who have purchased the product are advised not to consume it and discard or return it to the store for a refund.

Product: various fruit juices: Apple Juice Pears and Raspberry Apple Juice from the Chateau Blehen brand & Strawberry Apple Juice from Dupigny.
Problem: too high Patulin content.


In agreement with the AFSCA, the company “Exploitation de Vergers Hesbignons” is withdrawing the aforementioned juices from sale and recalling it to consumers because of a top high Patulin content.

The company “Exploitation de Vergers Hesbignons” asks its customers not to consume these products and to contact them by email info@pressoir.net mentioning the quantity purchased and attaching a photo of the products with the batch number.

USA – Arizona: Marijuana products recalled due to possible contamination with Salmonella or Aspergillus fungus

Arizona state health officials announced Wednesday that multiple Arizona marijuana establishments and dispensaries are initiating a voluntary recall of specific marijuana products due to possible contamination with Salmonella or Aspergillus.

To date, no illnesses have been reported. This announcement is being made out of an abundance of caution. Patients who have purchased potentially contaminated products should not ingest, inhale, or otherwise consume them and should dispose of them. If you have already consumed any of the products and have any of the symptoms described below, please contact your healthcare provider or seek emergency care in the event of an emergency.

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is advising purchasers to dispose of the products in the link aboe, which were found in laboratory tests to be positive for Salmonella or Aspergillus:
