This recall comes after J. M. Smucker Co.’s recall of dozens of Jif peanut butter products because of a new outbreak of infections from Salmonella Senftenberg. That recall can be viewed here.
The recalled “Fresh Seasons Power Packs” were distributed in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin in retail stores and vending machines.

The product comes in a 6.3 ounce, clear plastic package marked with lot numbers: 135-142 on the bottom with expiration dates ranging from 5/24 to 5/31.
As of the posting of this recall, no illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these specific products.
Giant Eagle is recalling GetGo brand Apples with Peanut Butter Dip sold in GetGo stations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana because of potential salmonella contamination.

GetGo learned of the issue during the retailer’s investigation into the Jif peanut butter recall from the J. M. Smucker Company. The peanut butter used for the item is affected by the Jif peanut butter recall.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are reporting 14 patients across 12 states with two people having been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported as of today.

Coblentz Chocolate Company of Walnut Creek, Ohio is recalling certain Peanut Butter Products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
This recall is a direct result of the J.M. Smucker Co. Jif® Peanut Butter recall. Coblentz Chocolate Company has ceased using Jif® Peanut Butter in production at this time. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The products were distributed nationwide and reached consumers through the Coblentz Chocolate Company retail store and other retail locations.
The products included in the recall were sold between November 12, 2021, and May 21, 2022. The specific products include lot numbers 1315-2140.

Some varieties of Jif peanut butter have been linked to a Salmonella Senftenberg outbreak that has sickened at latest 14 people in 12 states. No illnesses are associated with these specific recalled products. The recalling firm is Cargill.
No other Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate or Wilbur products are included in this recall. If you bought any of these items, do not eat them, even if some has been consumed and no one is sick. You can throw them away in a double bagged or sealed container inside a secure trash can, or take them back to the place of purchase for a refund. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling these products.
he New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health Services (DPHS), in collaboration with the City of Manchester Department of Health, is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella infections. As of May 22, 2022, seven persons with Salmonella Enteriditis infection have been identified who also reported eating at Buba Noodle Bar, located at 36 Lowell Street in Manchester, prior to their illness. One case was hospitalized and there have been no deaths. Several other people with Salmonella infection are currently under investigation. Buba Noodle Bar voluntarily closed on May 20, 2022 while a public health investigation is conducted, and the restaurant is partnering with public health to help determine a source for the infections.
