In particular, the Regional Directorate of Central Macedonia, during checks under the program “Official Control of Microbiological Food Safety Criteria” 2024, has sampled a frozen product with the details: GIZA GIFTA ( JINGA ) net weight 350 g., with a freezing date of 06/10/2023, a consumption date of 05/10/2025 and batch number / LOT 240171, produced by the company ” DARDANEL GREECE MON. SA”. Following laboratory analyzes at the Food Testing & Research Laboratory of E.F.E.T. Thessaloniki, the presence of the pathogenic microorganism Salmonella spp . in the above sample.

E.F.E.T. demanded the immediate recall of the entire specific batch of the product in question and the relevant controls are already underway.

GEITONAS & SIA E.E. which is based in Psathotopi Artas. After the examination by the Veterinary Laboratory of Ioannina, the presence of the pathogenic microorganism Listeria monocytogenes was found in the above sample .

The supplier Galleria Internazionale DOO is fulfilling its own responsibility in accordance with food law and has initiated a recall of the following product:

NUTRIGOLD BUCKWHEAT FLOUR 500G

GTIN/EAN: 3858891977294  (Best before: 05.02.2025, Lot: 20240103)

Vero-/Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (VTEC/STEC) were detected in the affected product. It cannot therefore be ruled out that there is a potential health risk – especially if consumed raw. Consumption of this product is therefore strongly advised against.

The inventory of the affected product has been withdrawn from sale.
