Detection of elevated levels of ochratoxin A (OTA). OTA is a naturally occurring mold toxin that can occur from certain types of fungi in various foods such as grains and dried fruits. In agreement with the FASFC, Carrefour market Sint-Niklaas ( August De Boeckstraat 9) is withdrawing “Gehakt (varken)” minced pork from sale and recalling it from consumers due to the possible presence of Salmonella.
