Consumers in possession of the product are asked not to consume it.
The bacterium Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause disease in high-risk populations such as those with a weakened immune system, the elderly, and cause miscarriages in pregnant women.
The English Cake chain removed the product from all the refrigerators of the chain’s branches to which it supplied the product.
The recall is in coordination with the food service at the Ministry of Health.
Customers who have the product are asked to return it to the store.
