In consultation with the AFSCA, Albert Heijn is recalling the sesame seed paste “Natural Tahini” from the AL’FEZ brand (all expiry dates combined). A check carried out by the producer has detected the presence of salmonella in a limited number of products.

Albert Heijn asks its customers not to consume this product and to return it to the point of sale. It will be refunded.

Brussels, July 12, 2024 – Following an inspection, in order to guarantee consumer safety, the firm SAS FROMAGERIE POCHAT is withdrawing from sale the cheese “Abondance au Lait Cru 200g  ” of the Pochat & Fils brand , sold in the dairy section of certain Carrefour stores in Belgium, and recalling it from consumers due to the possible presence of E.Coli .

All products are being withdrawn from sale. However, some of these products were on the market before the withdrawal measure.

Anyone who still has these products is asked not to consume them and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased for a refund. As a precaution, anyone who has consumed these products and who has symptoms consistent with acute gastroenteritis (i.e. vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, isolated or accompanied by headaches, abdominal cramps, malaise, anorexia, fever, chills, and body aches) is asked to consult their doctor, informing them of this consumption as well as the place and date of purchase.

Children and the elderly should be particularly attentive to these symptoms.

Following an inspection, in order to guarantee consumer safety, CARREFOUR is withdrawing from sale WHOLE RASPBERRIES (400 g) of the Carrefour ORGANIC brand, sold in the frozen food section of certain Carrefour stores in Belgium, and is recalling them from consumers due to of the possible presence of Norovirus.
