REASON FOR RECALL
During the analysis of the above item, a large quantity of Listeria monocytogenes was detected.
We have therefore decided to remove this product from the market and recall it from our customers. No other ALDI products are affected by this recall.
DESCRIPTION OF THE RISK
Possible symptoms of listeria poisoning include fever and/or headaches, and this can occur up to eight weeks after ingesting the contaminated food. Listeriosis is a potentially serious disease. Pregnant women, people with compromised immune systems and the elderly should be particularly attentive to these symptoms.
People who have consumed these products and who have these types of symptoms are advised to consult their doctor immediately and report this consumption.
