Bern, 25.11.2022 – As part of an official investigation, salmonella was detected in tiger nut flakes from the Werz company. A health hazard cannot be ruled out. The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office FSVO recommends not consuming the affected product. The Swiss importer Phag immediately removed the affected product from sale and started a recall.
