“The manufacturer Niederrhein-Gold Tersteegen GmbH & Co. KG is currently recalling the product “Solevita Smoothie Red Genius, 750mL” with the above-mentioned best-before dates and batches. The affected smoothie contains aronia juice, which is contaminated with patulin. Patulin is one of A harmful substance (mycotoxin) formed by mold fungi, which can lead to nausea, vomiting and indigestion. Customers should therefore definitely pay attention to the recall and under no circumstances consume the affected smoothie.
The affected product “Solevita Smoothie Red Genius, 750mL” was sold at Lidl in Germany . For reasons of consistent consumer protection, Lidl in Germany reacted immediately and removed the affected product from sale. The product can be returned to all Lidl branches. The purchase price will of course be refunded, even without presenting the receipt.”
