Product: HENRY OYSTERS from the brands “LA BELLE DE QUIBERON” and “LA BELLE DE CANCALE”.
Problem: Presence of NOROVIRUS.

The company “Huîtres Henry” is today withdrawing the sale of “Hyîtres HENRY” of the brands “LA BELLE DE QUIBERON” and “LA BELLE DE CANCALE” due to the presence of Norovirus (gastroenteritis virus) .

It is advisable not to consume:

HENRY OYSTERS from the brands “LA BELLE DE QUIBERON” and “LA BELLE DE CANCALE”
PRODUCTION AREA: RIVIERE DE CRAC’H AVAL – N° 56.09.3

The product was distributed via CORA in La Louvière (7100), Chatelineau (6200), Anderlecht (1070) and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert (1200).

CORA has decided, in agreement with the AFSCA (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain), to withdraw this product from sale.

Customers who have purchased this product are asked not to consume it and return it to the point of sale, where they will be reimbursed.

Norovirus can cause gastroenteritis in humans. The incubation period is 6 to 48 hours. The main symptoms are: vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, nausea, as well as less specific symptoms such as fever, headaches and general fatigue. Anyone who has consumed the product mentioned above and who presents these symptoms is invited to consult his attending physician by notifying him of this consumption.

In the meantime, the products have been removed from the shelves and a ‘Customer Reminder’ poster is displayed at the points of sale.
