The possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes in sliced ​​smoked salmon of the DIA World Selection brand from Spain is reported.

The data of the product involved are:

  • Product name:  Smoked Salmon
  • Brand:  DIA World Selection
  • Product appearance: sliced ​​in plastic packaging of 100 g/unit
  • Lot number:  24241A110
  • Expiry date: 04/10/2024
  • Unit weight:  100 g
  • Temperature:  refrigerated

In relation to the information received by the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, the Spanish Food Safety and Nutrition Agency has communicated this information to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities, through the  Coordinated System of Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI)

The withdrawal of the affected product from the marketing channels is being monitored by the competent authorities.

As a precautionary measure,  people who may have the above-mentioned product in their homes are advised to refrain from consuming it.

If you have consumed any of the products from the affected batch and present symptoms compatible with listeriosis, it is recommended to go to a health center.
