People who have the products included in this alert at home are recommended to refrain from consuming them. |
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition has learned, through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI), of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of the Valencian Community regarding the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in smoked salmon in different presentations and different brands whose lots start with 30A4.
- Product name: Smoked salmon and Marinated salmon
- Temperature: refrigerated
Batch : The affected products all begin with 30A4, to which a number and a letter are added at the end, for traceability purposes.
The brands under which the products have been marketed are:
- Alepa
- Distrialacant
- Fajardo
- Guillermo Fernandez
- Hiperber
- The cradle of salting
- The salaos
- Pablo Campillo
- Pertussis
- Saez
- Salted Miguel
- Salinas
- Production
- The blueocean seaffod
- Take up
The product involved is in the following presentations :
- Smoked salmon 80 g, 100 g, 200 g, 250 and 300 g
- Smoked salmon in oil 150 g, 900 g and 3500 g
- Pre-cut smoked salmon 1.2 kg, 1kg, 700 g, 600 g, 500 g and 400 g
- Smoked salmon sirloin 600 g
- Pre-cut marinated salmon 600 g

According to the information available, the initial distribution has been to the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Castilla – La Mancha and the Region of Murcia , although it cannot be ruled out that there may be redistributions to other autonomous communities.
This information has been transferred to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI) in order to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from marketing channels.
People who have products affected by this alert at home are recommended to refrain from consuming them.
If you have consumed any of the products from the affected batches and present symptoms compatible with listeriosis (vomiting, diarrhea and fever), it is recommended to go to a health center.
If you are pregnant, it is recommended to consult the recommendations for consumption during pregnancy made by the AESAN regarding important food hygiene practices for pregnant women, as well as a list of foods that should be avoided during pregnancy because they are associated with to certain biological hazards (among which Listeria monocytogenes stands out ).
