King Food is recalling Ana Food pre-fried chicken kebabs, as salmonella has been found in the product. The product should be discarded or returned to the store where it was purchased.

Why is the product being recalled?

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration has detected salmonella in the product, and there is therefore a risk of infection with salmonella. The symptoms of infection with salmonella are diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fever, headache and possibly nausea and vomiting. The illness can last from a few days to several weeks.

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration advises consumers to discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
