Scanfish Danmark A/S is recalling Rema 1000 Mini Fish Frikadeller, Rema 1000 Large Fish Frikadeller and Salling Frikadeller of Cod and Salmon, as the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in the products.
If you have the products, you should discard them or return them to the store where they were purchased.

Why are the products being recalled?
The bacterium Listeria monocytogenes has been detected in the fish patties. Infection with Listeria bacteria can cause flu-like symptoms, fever and headache and, in rare cases, gastrointestinal problems.

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration advises consumers to return the products to the store where they were purchased or to discard them.
