The “Fromagerie des Pays de Savoie” is withdrawing from sale “Abondance raw milk AOP” cheese from the Itinéraire des Saveurs brand.

A microbiological test revealed the presence of Escherichia coli (STEC).

The products were marketed in Intermarché & Intermarché by Mestdagh points of sale between June 25 and July 12, 2024.

Please do not consume this product and return it to this  store where you will be refunded.

Escherichia coli STEC can cause, within a week of consuming contaminated products, diarrhea, sometimes bloody, abdominal pain and vomiting, with or without fever. These symptoms can be followed (5 to 8% of cases) by severe kidney complications, mainly in children. People who have consumed the products mentioned above and who present these types of symptoms are invited to consult their doctor without delay, informing them of this consumption as well as the place and date of purchase.
