    Why are they testing NON-RTE Foodstuffs for Listeria monocytogenes?

      I am not sure or at least not sure why are they recalling, sometimes testing the raw gives you some understanding of frequency of contamination which you can monitor and look for trends. Is it in French legislation?
      Mind you i have seen pet food products recalled for Listeria as well
