The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Highline Mushrooms are warning the public not to consume the Sliced White Mushrooms described below because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The following Sliced White Mushrooms, sold in 227 g (8 oz) containers bearing lot code L410805 followed by a 4-digit time code (e.g., L4108051420) and a Best Before date of 12AU15, are affected by this alert:

These products have been distributed in Ontario and may have been distributed in other provinces as well.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

The affected product, Gills Onions brand Fresh Diced Red Onions, Product of U.S.A., is sold in 198 g packages, bearing UPC 6 43550 00045 0, Best Before date 05/17/12, and lot code 51RDA1A2119. This product is known to be distributed in Ontario and may have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Cananda – Cured Sausage Recall – Listeria monocytogenes

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public not to consume the La Vecchia Fattoria brand Cacciatore Dry Cured Sausages described below because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The affected product, La Vecchia Fattoria brand Cacciatore Dry Cured Sausages, is sold in packages of 2 units each (approximately 300g), bearing UPC 8 81248 33336 1 and a Best Before date of 12 23 JL.

This product has been distributed in Quebec.
