MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company Pizzeria Sofia, located at 9200, boulevard Leduc, bureau 140, in Brossard , is warning the population not to consume the products indicated in the table below, because they have not been prepared. and packaged in such a way as to ensure their safety . The products that are the subject of this advisory have been offered for sale until March 10, 2021 , and only at the establishment designated above. They were packaged in glass jars and sold at room temperature or refrigerated. The product label includes, in addition to its name, the mention “Sofia at home”.
The operator is voluntarily recalling the product in question. He agreed with MAPAQ to disseminate this warning as a precautionary measure. In addition, people who have any of these products in their possession are advised not to consume it. They must return it to the establishment where they bought it or throw it away. Although the affected products do not show any signs of spoilage or a suspicious odor, their consumption may represent a health risk. It should be noted that no case of illness associated with the consumption of these foods has been reported to MAPAQ so far.
