January 15, 2021 – MAPAQ, in collaboration with the company La Fabrique à sacisse, located at 155, rue Richelieu, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu , is warning the population not to consume the products indicated in the table below because they have not been prepared and packaged in such a way as to ensure their safety . 
The products that are the subject of this warning were offered for sale until January 14, 2021 inclusively , and only at the establishment designated above. They were sold at room temperature. The products are packaged in transparent bags. The label of the products includes, in addition to their proper name, the words “The sausage factory”.

The operator is voluntarily recalling the products in question. He agreed with MAPAQ to disseminate this warning as a precautionary measure. People who have any of these products in their possession are therefore advised not to consume it. They must either return it to the establishment where they bought it or throw it away. Even if the affected products do not show signs of spoilage or a suspicious odor, consuming them may represent a health risk. It should be noted that no case of illness associated with the consumption of these foods has been reported to MAPAQ so far.
