Matvælastofnun warns consumers about one production batch of coffee syrup with coffee and vanilla flavor from Örna ehf. due to a manufacturing defect, but mold formed in the product. The company, in consultation with the Swedish Food Agency, has recalled the product.
The recall only applies to the following production batch:
- Product name: Coffee milk with coffee and vanilla flavor
- Manufacturer: Arna ehf., Hafnargata 80, 415 Bolungarvík
- Packaging: 200 g box
- Shelf life: Best before 14.11.2024
- Distribution: All stores that sell products from Örna ehf.
Consumers who have purchased the product with the mentioned date are advised not to consume it, discard or return the product to the store where it was purchased or contact Örna directly.
