Brand Castle LLC of Bedford Heights, OH, is voluntarily recalling its “In the Mix” branded monkey bread mix because it was made with powdered milk that has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
“This product is being recalled because an ingredient supplier — Valley Milk Products LLC — has issued a recall for the buttermilk powder used in this product due to the potential for contamination by Salmonella organisms found in their facility and finished product samples during an FDA investigation,” according to the Saturday recall notice from Brand Castle.
