Malaysia -23 secondary school students down with food poisoning in Dungun

KUALA TERENGGANU: Twenty-three students of a secondary school in Dungun near here are believed to have come down with food poisoning yesterday after eating food served at its canteen.

Terengganu Education Department director Shafruddin Ali Hussin said they were sent to the Dungun Hospital after complaining of stomach ache and diarrhoea.

He said 176 students consumed “nasi ayam” at the canteen and later the 23 showed symptoms of food poisoning.
