Burren Smokehouse Smoked Organic Salmon; sizes: 40g, 100g, 500g packs, 750g and 1 kg sides (Approval number IE CE 0004 EC)

A low level of the pathogen was detected in the smoked salmon; however, because Listeria monocytogenes can grow at refrigeration temperatures, there is a risk that the bacteria could grow to harmful levels. Listeriosis is a serious disease which can be life threatening, particularly for pregnant women, the elderly and other people with a weakened immune system.
