Pacific Organic Produce of San Francisco is recalling a limited number of cases of organic mangos because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. They were sold under the Purity Organic brand. No illnesses have been reported to date, but Listeria can take a long time to develop. A Salmonella outbreak linked to imported mangoes sickened 127 people in 2012.
