The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority warns against the consumption of one batch of raw marinated chicken thighs from Stjernegrís hf. The company has stopped sales and recalled the product from the market.

Only the following batch is being recalled:

• Product description: Raw chicken in saffron marinade.
• Storage conditions: refrigerated product

• Barcode: 2328802
• Manufacturer: Stjernegrís hf.
• Distribution: Supermarket, Krambúð, Nettó.

• Product Name: Buffalo Chicken Thighs
• Brand Name: Starbird
• Product description: Raw chicken in buffalo marinade.
• Storage conditions: refrigerated product
• Batch number: 8019-25139
• Barcode: 2328812
• Manufacturer: Stjernegrís hf.
• Distribution: Krónan, Bonus, Skagfirðingabúð, Kaupfélag Vestur-Hon

Consumers who have purchased chicken with these traceability numbers are asked to return
it to the store in question.
