FoodWorld: What happens next?

Hello Everyone! You have probably guessed by now that there have been a few changes here at FoodWorld. I’m Greg, and I will be posting your updates on food microbiology. I aim to update you every Friday in the traditional style you are used to, however it would be brilliant to hear what sort of future you would like to see for this blog. Do you want more summary information? Are you interested in sharing your opinions more widely? Are there areas of food micro that you feel aren’t yet covered that we could address here?

Please let me know your thoughts in the comments, I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. Hi Greg

Nice to meet. There are occasions when I want to repost some of your article/notifications on the Highfield food Safety Forum. Not sure whether this is possible – I usually end up returning to the source.

    • Hi, great to meet you too! Feel free to link in to the blog, or copy with attribution to the original source if it’s anything other than my thoughts on a subject. It would be brilliant to hear a bit more on how you’d like this blog to change. At the moment the aim is to continue as usual, but there may well be the urge to have a bit more in the way of summary stats or some more insight into reasons for particular trends. Let me know!

      • Hi Greg

I have just realised how to post the article to LinkedIn – you have first to click on like/comment. I have not come across this before. Certainly, when there is a significant post, such as a major incident/outbreak, it may add value for you to make a few comments.
