Cincinnati’s School for the Creative and Performing Arts was closed Friday after officials said nearly 300 cases of norovirus were reported this week.
Principal Michael Owens sent a message to students, families and staff Thursday evening, stating the Cincinnati Health Department recommended the closure. The illness at the nearly 1,400 student school was not linked to the cafeteria, Owens wrote.
