Canada – Advice not to consume products packaged in glass jars and manufactured by Dutrifla Traiteur – Cake

QUEBEC, Dec. 2021 / CNW Telbec / – The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Dutrifla Traiteur – Gâteau, located in Gatineau , is warning the population not to consume the products indicated in the table below below, because they have not been packaged in such a way as to ensure their safety.

The products that are the subject of this warning were offered for sale until December 16, 2021 , in a Gatineau Christmas market and on the Dutrifla Traiteur – Gâteau Facebook page. The products were packaged in glass jars with a metal lid and sold at room temperature. The products did not have a label.

The operator is voluntarily recalling the products in question. He agreed with MAPAQ to disseminate this warning as a precautionary measure. In addition, people who have any of these products in their possession are advised not to consume it. They must return it to the establishment where they bought it or throw it away. Even if the affected products do not show any signs of spoilage or a suspicious odor, their consumption may represent a risk to health. It should be noted that no case of illness associated with the consumption of these foods has been reported to MAPAQ so far.
