The Co-operative is extending the recall of its Truly Irresistible Camembert to include all packs as a precautionary measure, because of the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause foodborne illness, particularly among vulnerable groups.
Vulnerable groups are pregnant women, unborn and newborn babies, those over 60 years old and anyone with a weakened immune system.
