Carmel Food Group of Hayward, Calif. is recalling certain Rising Moon Organics frozen Ravioli for the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The ravioli products contain organic spinach which has been recalled after it tested positive for Listeria.
No illnesses had been reported at the time of the recall, but consumers who have purchased this product should not eat it as Listeria can cause severe illness and death. Seniors, children, those with compromised immune systems and pregnant women are most at risk.
