Spanish Producer – Recall – Smoked Trout – Listeria monocytogenes

The Spanish distributor Dia announced Friday that it was conducting a recall of a batch of smoked trout sold under its brand on the shelves of its stores due to the presence of listeria, the group said in a statement.

External monitoring revealed the presence of “a bacterium Listeria monocytogenes type” likely to cause “fever, alone or accompanied by headache,” reveals Dia.

The group added that pregnant women should be particularly attentive to these symptoms suggestive “listeriosis, an illness that can be serious and that the incubation time up to eight weeks,” he says.

This batch of 150 grams of smoked trout, sold prepackaged vacuum packed under the brand Dia bears the barcode August 48 0017 0323 24. The deadlines for consumption are 14 and 18 November
