The FSA has updated its reports on the E coli outbreak in Germany in which four people have already died. The cause has been attributed to organically grown cucumbers from two regions in Spain and the Netherlands. It is also suggested that organically tomato’s may be implicated. The FSA stated the ‘offending cucumbers’ are not believed to have been on sale in the UK.
