Lactalis Deutschland GmbH is recalling a letter tip in the Austrian market in which Listeria monocytogenes was detected in a sample as part of a routine check . The product is affected by the recallLe Brie “Chêne d’argent”with the best before date and the batch number:

The product has been on the market at LIDL in Austria since 11/11/2020. Sales of the affected product were stopped immediately.
Consumers who have purchased this product are asked not to consume it and to dispose of the food themselves or bring it back to the store. The purchase price will of course be reimbursed, even without a receipt. After consuming contaminated products,
Listeria monocytogenes can lead to flu-like symptoms such as fever, muscle pain and, under certain circumstances, vomiting and diarrhea.
Consumers who have consumed the product and suffer from the symptoms described are asked to consult their doctor immediately and to inform them of the consumption of the contaminated product as well as the place and date of purchase.
In particular, pregnant women, small children and people with a weakened immune system can cause serious illnesses as a result of consumption. You should consult a doctor after consuming the affected product even without symptoms.
